Born in Koza City (now Okinawa City) in 1963. Formed the rock band "The Waltz" in 1986.
In live activities, he has performed with BB.KING and Yuukadan, and has been a guest at the Peaceful Love Rock Festival for two years in a row. His songs are also used in TV program theme songs and Orion Beer commercials. Their convincing vocals, which quickly broke the spell of Okinawan rock and continue to sing realistically in their own words, are among the best among Okinawan singers, and laid the foundation for the current prosperity of Okinawan rock. It has been described as ``the last great singer of Okinawa that is difficult for people in the mainland to understand,'' but its melody and message have universality that transcends the seas, and its fan base is steadily expanding.
