Student Band Festival to be held on February 28th next year for junior and senior high school students in Gunma
Okinawa Kaiho Bank's Yaeyama Branch (Branch Manager Nakahodo Kentaro) will be holding a student band festival for junior and senior high school students living in the Yaeyama area at City Jack, a live music venue in the city, on February 28th next year.
Staff members are calling on people to join, saying, "We welcome anyone who loves music, wants to make new friends, or wants to take on a new challenge."
This is the first time that the event has been held with the aim of creating a venue for young, talented students to perform. Many staff members at the branch, including Branch Manager Nakado, love music and are familiar with musical instruments, and the staff band "Silver Marine" is also active.
This event was planned to encourage musical activities, as junior and senior high school students have few opportunities to perform.
The application requirement is that all members must be junior high or high school students living in Yaeyama. The performance must consist of two pieces. We expect to receive around 10 entries.
Sakiho Nanami, Suzuna Nakawaka, and Ayu Ginoza visited the Yaeyama Mainichi Shimbun to promote the event. "It doesn't matter if you're good or bad, the important thing is the desire to perform. We look forward to receiving your applications," said Nakawaka, and "We hope this will be a place where you can deepen your connections with other band members and pursue your dreams," said Ginoza.
Applications can be made via the Student Band Festa LINE.
The deadline is January 30th.
