HoRookies (Holkies)
The band was formed in 2014 by four people who met at junior high school in their hometown of Urasoe, Okinawa Prefecture.
After a hiatus due to their studies, they reunited in 2018 and began full-scale activities. They made their debut on August 29, 2019 with their first album, "HoRookies."
As all members are vocalists and also contribute to songwriting, their songs have been used extensively in TV shows, commercials, movies, and theme songs, and they have released three albums and 15 singles to date.
Since October 2024, the group has been active as a trio.
