Akihiko Shimomura Profile:
Born in Kobe in 1953. He suffered from polio in his childhood and discovered the guitar during his battle with the disease.
He debuted with Victor Records in 1971. Afterwards, he toured nationwide with artists such as Takuro Yoshida, Shigeru Izumiya, and Kaien-tai, and provided songs to many singers including Akira Fuse, Chieko Baisho, and Saori Yuki.
After leaving the music world for a time, he experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. In 2004, he resumed his musical activities after discovering live recordings from about 30 years prior.
She continues to sing, expressing her gratitude for the encounters and connections she has had with people.
Asumi's Profile:
They deliver entertainment that transcends genre boundaries, including jazz, Showa-era pop, funk, R&B, and gospel. Their musical roots lie with their father, Akihiko Shimomura. They express genuine music in live performances that cannot be conveyed through recordings alone.
Toman's Profile:
She started writing lyrics and composing music around the fourth grade of elementary school, and has created approximately 400 songs to date.
She resumed her musical activities in 2011, performing acoustic guitar and singing. In 2017, she moved to Ishigaki Island, where she regularly holds acoustic live performances, releases "Ishigaki Island songs," and produces music for local musicians.
