A memorial concert will be held in memory of Masaji Kudo, who passed away in July 2016 at the age of 66.
Kudo performed as the bassist for Friday Live and was loved by many people not only for his playing but also for his personality.
I can still picture him, his sociable smile, treating everyone equally and kindly, and going around to each table with a mug in hand during breaks to greet them.
Nine years have passed since then. On this day marking the 10th anniversary of his death, friends who knew Kudo well will gather together to play music and share their memories.
