The crybabys were formed during their university years. They performed energetically at school festivals in the prefecture and at the "Peaceful Love Rock Festival" (they appeared three times), and in 1992 they won an Excellence Award at the "NHK BS Young Battle".
In 1994, they moved their base of operations to Tokyo and gained attention by opening for Elephant Kashimashi in Shimokitazawa and appearing on the TV program "Ebisu Onsen," which was the successor to "Ika-Ten," but unfortunately they were unable to make their debut. After returning to their hometown in 2001, they continued to perform but sadly disbanded in 2007.
And now, THE CRYBABYS are finally making a comeback! With Eiko Taira and Shinichi Iha joining them, the original members are reunited! The rock spirit of yesteryear resonates across time. The long-awaited live performance will take place in Ishigaki Island!
The opening act, n'ma pipizarz, a group formed by classmates born this year (Year of the Horse/Sheep), will warm up the venue with a parade of cover songs!
