This year marks the 103rd time for the participatory open mic event, where the stage is opened to the public once a month.
Anyone can play, from beginners to experienced musicians! Most of the performers are local musicians from Yaeyama.
More than 10 artists perform two songs each time, making this a popular event that serves as a place for musical exchange rooted in the local community.
